A Lionsgate company, the International Distribution Company (IDC), has an immediate opening for a highly organized, independent Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for supporting two areas within International Distribution Company (IDC) - Finance and administration, by streamlining daily and monthly routines and assisting in the preparation of Quarterly Royalty Statements.
QUALIFICATIONS
A Lionsgate company, the International Distribution Company (IDC), has an immediate opening for a highly organized, independent Analyst to join their team. This role is responsible for supporting two areas within International Distribution Company (IDC) - Finance and administration, by streamlining daily and monthly routines and assisting in the preparation of Quarterly Royalty Statements.
Responsibilities include:
- Assist Director of Finance, with the reconciliation of cash receipts to royalty statements
- Analyze ledger data from SAP to Cash Reconciliation worksheet
- Generate and submit Overage invoices to various sub-distributors in LatAm
- Update P&A Budget vs Actual comparison worksheet in order to track title spend
- Update/maintain the Theatrical Reporting Model with the latest monthly territory data
- Assist with AR collections
- Update Producer reports Quarterly and ensure that everything is reported correctly
- Help the Marketing & Servicing departments with distribution concepts and analysis.
- Manage Materials Invoices and collections
- Perform special projects as assigned
Eligibility Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years experience
- Must possess strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Detail oriented with strong administration skills
- Familiar with using Microsoft Office; Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to successfully manage multiple projects and deal with deadline pressure
- Self-starter with ability to follow through with minimal supervision
- Prior analyst experience (preferably at a studio) supporting senior executives
Additional requirements:
- Self-driven, motivated and very organized
- Willingness to work overtime and be flexible with hours
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management
- Involves high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment
- Fluency in Spanish (desired)
