Lionsgate has an immediate need for an Analyst/Sr. Analyst in the Financial Planning & Analysis department. The position serves a critical role in the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes, as well as maintaining the company's financial planning and performance management system (BPC).
RESPONSILIBITIES AND TASKS:
· Provide quantitative and analytical support for corporate planning during the quarterly forecasts/closes
· Prepare, review and distribute monthly/quarterly financial reports to cost/profit centers
· Track expenses and revenues against budget and reforecast and analyze fluctuations
· Assist in preparing monthly consolidation and executive financial package
· Coordinate financials questions/answers among management and the accounting departments
· Prepare quarterly management reports
· Assist in the budget & reforecast process
· Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as needed
· Develop, maintain and distribute as-hoc reports and financial models as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
· BS/BA in Finance, Computer Science, or Accounting
· Experience with OLAP analysis tools (BPC, Outlooksoft, Hyperion, etc.) and SAP
· Demonstrated financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and analysis knowledge
· Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
· Ability to interact with senior management
· Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
· Strong verbal and written skills
· Strong knowledge of GAAP standards
