Summary of Position:
Lionsgate has an immediate opening for a Financial Analyst to prepare and analyze participation and royalty statements. Responsibilities include:
• Research and documentation of accounting entries
• Analysis and improvement of existing systems and practices
• Contract interpretation and set-up of new participation statements
• Ad-hoc projects on various special projects as assigned
Experience & Skills:
The ideal candidate will have:
• At least a year of accounting or finance experience, entertainment industry is a plus, preferably in Participations or Residuals
• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
• Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Must have excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Must be able to effectively communicate with other team members and business units
• Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks while keeping up with contractual deadlines and varying priorities
• Must be able to read and understand legal agreements
• SAP experience is a plus
