Lionsgate is the leading next generation filmed entertainment studio and is a major producer and distributor of motion pictures, home entertainment, family entertainment, television programming, video-on-demand and digitally delivered content.
Lionsgate is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to support the Sr. Vice President of Finance. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide overall administrative support to the Sr. Vice President of Finance overseeing Treasury and Procure to Pay. The ideal candidate should have solid communication and organizational skills and be willing to roll up his/her sleeves to do what it takes to get the job done.
Duties:
• Organizing Corporate American Express Card request activity submitted by various departments within the organization.
• Inputting the coding for executed transactions on the American Express Card into the CAR American Express reporting tool.
• Organizing travel authorizations for signature and scanning back to the applicable departments and travel companies as necessary.
• Creating summary schedules in excel as requested.
• Executing electronic bank deposits daily.
• Assist with Accounts Payable processing as requested.
• Drafting correspondence for review and eventual distribution to banks, vendors, internal parties of interest, etc.
• Maintaining schedule of festival, market and award show dates with checklist of deliverables (budgets, travel authorizations for those approved to attend, coding and allocations, etc.) from internal departments before spend can occur.
• Ordering office supplies as needed.
• Answer phones when necessary to identify and prioritize urgent requests from internal and external departments when the Sr. Vice President is in meetings or unavailable.
Requirements:
• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or prior 1 - 2 years' experience in a similar administrative assistant role.
• Strong Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and follow through.
• Ability to handle changing circumstances and reprioritize when necessary.
