Job Description
Manager, Marketing Partnerships
Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is seeking to build a world-class activation team to package, pitch and activate sponsorships to potential corporate partners. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Marketing Partnerships, the Manager, Marketing Partnerships will play a significant role in helping to reshape and expand the Corporate Partnership Program at Lincoln Center.
Responsibilities:
• Manage client relations and activations for Lincoln Center marketing partners.
• Develop strategies and programs to acquire and secure corporate partnerships that align in a meaningful way with Lincoln Center.
• Prepare proposals and packages, and pitch said materials to prospective sponsors/partners; successfully activate new and existing marketing partnerships.
• Develop research on all current and prospective corporate sponsors/partners.
• Oversee sponsorship administration: track deadlines, create spreadsheets and manage accounting/budget issues.
• Serve as a strong liaison between corporate partners and Lincoln Center.
• Manage sponsorship events and other related activities.
• Proactively initiate and maintain communication with key internal clients on partnership needs, ensuring all corporate partner deliverables are executed as contracted.
• Respond to a variety of corporate partner inquiries and requests.
• Organize mailings of brochures, event invitations, and other materials.
Qualifications:
• 3 - 5 years of experience in sponsorship, event marketing, public relations or related field.
• Demonstrated experience in the planning, development, implementation and management of comprehensive sponsorship programs in fast-paced corporate, media/entertainment environments.
• Sound judgment in relation to identifying opportunities which are in keeping with Lincoln Center's brand.
• Proven success in setting and meeting challenging sponsorship targets within agreed timelines.
• Experience in building, strengthening and maintaining professional, client-focused relationships with corporate partners.
• Creative thinker with the ability to negotiate mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Superb organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent budget management skills.
• Strong computer skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
• Meaningful corporate contacts preferred.
• Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends.
• BA/BS preferred.
