LightWorkers Media seeks an experienced Social Media Manager for the company's new online video and curated content initiative. LWM is a joint venture among MGM, Mark Burnett and Roma Downey. We produce and curate highly shareable content, both video and editorial, designed to brighten people's days in the areas of entertainment, lifestyle, faith and family. The Social Media Manager will focus on social media strategy for distributing and promoting all of our content, across platforms, with a heavy emphasis on ideating and executing creative that breaks through the clutter.
We are looking for a passionate digital strategist who has experience managing digital and social marketing campaigns for publishers/entertainment brands, mastering the voice, look and feel of the brand. The position requires ample experience strategizing and executing on paid, earned and owned tactics in an effort to drive engagement and grow a community. The role requires excellent project management skills, clarity when communicating vision with freelance designers, an aptitude for data analysis, a passion for continuous testing and the ability to share learnings and strategic next steps with the entire team. Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute editorial social calendars working closely with our content team
• Create content, publish and grow our social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest and potentially more as we grow
• Conceptualize and drive social marketing campaigns that produce high engagement, create viral moments, spur conversations and grow our following
• Monitor and maintain all social media accounts daily
• Continuously test and help direct content strategy
• Manage and execute all operations for paid campaigns
• Use existing social analytics tools to deliver weekly reports to key stakeholders on social growth and engagement, using these learning to increase ROI
• Utilize knowledge of the overall social landscape, trending topics and leverage latest social media best practices in order to provide ongoing thought leadership and innovative ideas
• Collaborate with content team to assist in the creation of social-specific video and editorial content
• Clearly communicate with our talent and network of influencers to get them the social assets needed to drive to our content from their own channels
• Collaborate across departments and initiatives, supporting content, marketing, sales and the larger executive team
Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of social media marketing experience
• 1-2 years paid performance media experience
• Strong command of social platforms, content management systems and reporting tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude
• BA required
