Details: Position Summary:
Provide first-class customer service to Lifetime's Marketing Department. Media Coordinator / Librarian's are responsible for all media movement and tracking, including but not limited to video tape, files and optical elements.

Position Responsibilities:
oOrganize and track records of tapes and materials in and out of the videotape library using ScheduAll in order to ensure that the whereabouts of all media elements are known.
oCreate links to FTP using a proprietary link on Internet Explorer in order to facilitate client vendor deliveries.
oPush and pull files to FTP use Fileziilla in order for client vendors to view digital media.
oInterface with outside courier vendors and arrange for and track cross-country media deliveries using verbal communications and courier websites to ensure that high-definition air masters and source material arrive at their intended destination on time.
oCreate labels for various media formats using File Maker Pro to ensure that Media is identifiable.
oMaintain tape database using On Air Pro to ensure that client comp reel masters are tracked and current.
oMaintain tape allocation reports using ScheduAll in order to track tape stock used in sessions for billing purposes.

Required Experience
Avid experience in a broadcast environment.
Knowledge of file based workflows and video tape formats is essential.
Ideal candidate will have experience working in a client oriented post production environment.
Ideal candidate needs to be able to maintain a customer friendly attitude while handling many different requests and tasks simultaneously.

Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent.
BA or BS in Broadcasting preferred.
