Lifeboat Productions is searching for hardworking interns for the Spring 2017 semester to work at a busy television and film company. Interns at our company get first-hand experience on how a production company works and are able to assist on various projects with our production team. Our ideal candidates are students that are studying film, production, or entertainment or have an interest in the film and/or television with a relatable major and want to work in the industry.
As a Lifeboat intern, you will work alongside our in-house production coordinator and producer's assistant. You will also have the opportunity to sit at the front desk and welcome guests as well as interface with our many clients, actors, vendors, filmmakers, and colleagues visiting the company. Candidates with a positive attitude and sociable disposition will thrive here. Additionally, as this is a non-paid internship, candidates MUST be able to receive college credit and have a car with appropriate insurance.
Some of the responsibilities are:
-Answering phones, door, and welcoming guests.
-Going on productions runs for office team.
-Organizing office space.
-Assisting producers with specific research projects.
-Scanning production binders.
-Helping on-set during production (when applicable).
