Description of Work:
Box Office Manager leads, coordinates and supervises all activities in the Lied Center box office. Oversees hiring, supervising and training of permanent staff. Plans, establishes and manages methods and procedures for all ticket sales. Oversees all business functions of the box office, including deposits, reconciliation of income to ticket sales reports and accounting reports. Provides reports to Lied administration and presenters on ticket sales activity. Responsible for creating a sales team that is efficient in patron loyalty and increasing ticket sales.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree plus two (2) years' experience working in ticketing; equivalent education/experience will be considered. Knowledge of Tessitura or other major ticketing system required; equivalent education/experience considered. Excellent customer service and dealing with the public is required. Supervisory experience required. Cash-handling experience and deposit reconciliation experience required. Strong spreadsheet, email and word processing computer experience required.
Ideal candidate will have two (2) years' experience ticketing; specifically with Tessitura software systems from a similar venue to the Lied Center. Work history will demonstrate accuracy and excellent organizational skills.
$58,000 minimum annual salary
