NYC Production Company is seeking an experienced EIC to oversee multiple shows. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manages and controls costs on production budgets and creates additional savings where possible.
Budgets subsequent seasons of existing series after evaluating real, hard costs and resources associated with previous seasons. All budgets to be reviewed, line-by-line with HOP.
Creates production schedules for subsequent seasons of existing series after evaluating previous seasons.
Manages and approves updates to existing weekly internal and external production schedules, including the consistency of style and quality control of these documents.
Distributes updated external production schedules to the networks on a weekly basis.
Oversees Production Management Department personnel to include:
Line Producers
Production Managers
Production Coordinators
Approves and codes all production-related expenses, including:
Timecards
Invoices
Petty Cash
Amex Charges
Purchase Orders
Enforces field protocol for obtaining appropriate rights and clearances prior to filming.
Oversees and approves the production bible for individual productions.
Creates bi-weekly cost reports on all productions.
Works with show EP's on equipment selection.
Works closely with EP's, Line Producers and Production Managers to staff the productions.
Ensures that background checks, cast medicals and psych evaluations are promptly completed.
Works with accounting to identify and track dollars spent toward tax incentive eligible productions.
Identifies and tracks breakage for the productions
Negotiate and set new and existing below-the-line employee rates.
