Research Marketing Manager
We are LBI Media, Inc., the largest privately-held, minority-owned Spanish-language broadcaster in the United States with TV and radio stations operating in several top Hispanic markets, parent company of the Estrella TV Network, and the only US based Producer of Spanish-language programming. Position Summary:
The Research Director will assist in the design, execution and analysis of research-based solutions for LBI Media Inc's Sales, Affiliate, Audience Tracking and Measurement, Programming, Digital, Marketing and Communications research efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Provide senior leaders and executive management with strategic insight to maximize ad sales, brand and position the network and stations with viewers and advertisers in a distinctive, Insightful and creative way.
• Provide custom qualitative and quantitative analysis, optimize all research systems: focus groups, pilot tests, branding studies, competitive analysis to maximize ratings and demographic performance, programming inventory, audience flow, audience skew and retention.
• Provide programming estimates and lifestyle research for all sales efforts.
• Help grow and maximize sales revenue through insightful research presentation decks and sales packages.
• Advise on strategic opportunities to increase network awareness, create effective campaigns, understand viewers and potential viewers, and generate trade and consumer press.
• Advise on how to increase awareness and usage of digital properties, and understand digital environment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor degree preferred with minimum 3 years media research experience.
• Creative and strategic thinker with advanced analytic skills.
• Ability to discern trends in the industry and understand the competitive landscape.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Thorough knowledge of Nielsen Media Research Databases, Media Metrix and Omniture, Rentrak, MRI and Simmons.
• Ability work in a fast paced environment, multi-task and juggle competing priorities.
• Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Digital environment.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish a plus, but not a requirement.
Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be willing to work in Dallas, TX or Houston, TX
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
