Laughing Buddha Comedy is looking for interns to start immediately. Although this would be a non-paid position, there will be many generous and valuable benefits in addition to being an incredible learning experience. This internship is perfect for anybody who is interested in comedy, entertainment, promotion and marketing, production, and social networking. We are looking for someone who can commit to 2 to 3 days a week, 4 hours a day. The ideal candidate would be free afternoons, Monday through Thursday (You would only be working part of that time) and a self starter who can work, coordinate, and organize on their own.

Benefits of the job include seeing great shows for free in NYC's top venues including the Stand, Stage 72, the Village Lantern, and Eastville Comedy Club. Interns wishing to perform stand up comedy may have the opportunity to participate in our open mics, regarded as the city's best. In addition, you will have the opportunity to take free classes at the Laughing Buddha Comedy School. We often provide lunch, snacks, and beverages.
