Join one of the premiere producers of live comedy shows as an Event Production intern! Laughing Buddha Comedy is known as a community of stand up comics founded by professional comedian Jeff Lawrence in 2009. We seek passionate, driven individuals excited to get involved with a rising organization at the ground level. LBC has quickly emerged as a well-known entity and now produces over 100 events per month. We have been featured on the front page of The Wall Street Journal, The Tampa Bay Times, and Every Day Magazine with Rachael Ray.
You will be working at our busy yet casual office, conveniently located on the Lower East Side.
You may also be working at one of the many venues we produce shows at.
Duties include:
-Live event production assistance
-Digital film and photography production
-Some business/admin tasks
-Some research
Ideal Candidates are:
-Reliable and responsible; ambitious and goal-driven; punctual and deadline-oriented
-Possessing of skills and experience in event organization
-Interested in the Entertainment Industry
-Available for a minimum of 2 half days per week (4 hour blocks)
-Mac Proficient (bonus if you have experience w/ Adobe Premiere and Photoshop)
-Available on occasional evenings and weekends

We are currently looking for applicants to begin immediately for the 2016 Summer season. This is an unpaid internship, with a minimum commitment of 3-4 months. We will be happy to comply with any school credit requirements you may wish to obtain. We look forward to hearing from you!
