Laughing Buddha Comedy is now hiring an Administrative Director to handle all facets of administration including scheduling, emails, phones, coordinating social media calendars, interns, budgeting, payroll, and more. We are NYC's leading producer of stand up comedy shows and home of the Laughing Buddha Comedy School which has been featured in national newspapers.
We are looking for someone who wants a career with a groundbreaking company, not a job to bide time. This is a very casual work environment that might entail multiple locations including your working from home, and will include some weeknights and weekends. We are looking for someone who is extremely driven and passionate about entertainment, and wants to get in on a ground floor opportunity. LBC is only six years old and has quickly emerged as a well known entity in the stand up comedy capitol of the world. We are looking for someone to help build the company and reap the rewards for years to come.
You will be working with LBC founder and Director, Jeff Lawrence, who is also a professional comedian that was recently named a ''big name talent with connections...'' by the NY Times. He knows first hand the rigors of the business both from the production side and the performance side. This is an administrative position and candidates should be very strong administratively, have the ability to work on their own, and have experience with the following:
* Scheduling and phones
* E mail marketing
* Mac and ios
* Microsoft platforms
* Social Media Marketing
* Final Cut and Photoshop is a bonus but not necessary
* This is not an entry level position, a minimum of 2 years of experience
Salary will commensurate with experience.
