We are LBI Media, Inc., the largest privately-held, minority-owned Spanish-language broadcaster in the United States with TV and radio stations operating in several top Hispanic markets, parent company of the Estrella TV Network, and the only US based Producer of Spanish-language programming. Position Summary:
The Sr Sales Planner works closely with the Network Sales, Traffic and Research teams to develop media proposals for the Estrella TV network, utilizing all available research, sales and programming sources to meet the network and advertiser needs.
Responsibilities:
- Build and revise sales proposals for Upfront and Scatter marketplace. Compile proposal requests and reweights as needed.
- Manage agency request, sold sponsorships, and integration elements.
- Work closely with Traffic and Production to ensure timely delivery and scheduling of integrated elements.
- Work with AE, and sales management to identify potential sales targets.
- Train and support sales coordinators in all aspects of account management, brand allocations, agency requests and stewardship.
Requirements:
• 3 years related buying or selling experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented, with good multi-tasking and organizational ability.
• Proficient in MS Office programs, specifically Excel and Powerpoint.
• DealMaker experience preferred.
• BA/BS preferred in Communications or Public Relations.
• Bilingual: English/Spanish a plus.

• Must be willing to work in New York City
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must be willing to work overtime, holiday or weekends on short notice
• Must be 18 years or older.
