Travel Coorinator
We are LBI Media, Inc., the largest privately-held, minority-owned Spanish-language broadcaster in the United States, which owns TV and radio stations operating in top Hispanic markets throughout the country; parent company of the Estrella TV Network, one of the fastest growing television networks in the U.S. We are currently looking for talented and passionate people who want to grow with us.
Position Summary:
The Travel Coordinator is responsible for planning and booking of all the Company's travel and hotel needs. Working closely with Senior Executives, Production Staff and often high-profile Talent, the Travel Coordinator must possess excellent customer service skills, and be a true professional.
Responsibilities:
• Research and following approval, book the most efficient and cost effective travel tickets & accommodations, while ensuring compliance within budget and established policies on class of travel service.
• Ensure all travel, hotel and transportation details are taken care of, and maintain corresponding documentation.
• Procure necessary travel documents for domestic and international travel by Company Executives, Management and others, including ensuring passports, visas, and other clearances are valid and up to date.
• Reconcile monthly travel statements.
• Resourceful in assisting with travel or hotel cancellations, delays and last-minute re-booking.
Requirements:
• Thrive in a fast paced environment, meet tight deadlines and can multi-task.
• Excellent organizational skills, detailed oriented, and the ability to prioritize conflicting deadlines.
• Strong computer knowledge (Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with all staff (from Senior Executives to entry level production staff, to high profile on-screen Talent).
• Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness in resolving unforeseen problems
• Bilingual: Fluency in written, reading and spoken English/Spanish.
• Bachelor degree preferred and/or minimum 2 years' experience with travel booking.
• Prior production travel experience a plus.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be willing to work in Burbank, CA [no relocations]
• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must be willing to work overtime, holiday or weekends on short notice
• Must be 18 years or older
