TV Show Producer
We are LBI Media, Inc., the largest privately-held, minority-owned Spanish-language broadcaster in the United States, which owns TV and radio stations operating in top Hispanic markets throughout the country and is the parent company of the Estrella TV Network, one of the fastest growing television networks in the U.S. We are currently looking for talented and passionate people who want to grow with us.
Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be a creative, detail-oriented and self- directed TV Producer who will oversee a TV Show Production from conception to completion and has hands on experience with all aspects of TV production.
Responsibilities:
• Provide creativity, leadership and vision for the designated TV Show.
• Assist in bringing together and possibly hiring the key staff and talent which will become creative team involved in the project.
• Work closely with all department heads (lighting, art, writers, camera, audio, hair, make-up, wardrobe, and accounting departments) to ensure show requirements are being met and delivered on time and on budget.
• Provide day-to-day supervision to and assign work schedules for camera crew, production assistants and runners.
• Oversee the production and post production process, including editing, audio, and the overall tone of the shoots.
• Oversee the budget and allocation of resources of the production in order to bring the finished production in on budget.
• Supervise the progress of the project from pre production to post production, ensuring that the production stays on schedule and budget.
Requirements:
• Excellent story telling skills; ability to translate story telling on video and audio shoots to ensure a consistent story flow.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail, with a desire and eye for continuous improvement.
• Excellent verbal communications skills, particularly with Talent, Guests and Contestants.
• Knowledge of and comfortable discussing entertainment events.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a high pressure, fast paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Fully bilingual: English/Spanish.
• TV Production, Communications or Journalism degree preferred.
• 5 years' prior work experience in Spanish language TV or digital productions.
Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background investigation
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
• Must possess valid CA DMV license and a good driving record.
• Must be 18 years or older
