Senior Associate (Senior Account Executive), Lifestyle & Technology

Job Description
We're looking for a senior associate to join our young, start-up agency who is self-motivated, eager to help build a marketing agency and drive success for our lifestyle and technology clients. We need someone that clients will adore; someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and can peer-manage up, down and across the aisle.
Candidates in this position should demonstrate consistent performance and the ability to deliver quality output on all assignments. This candidate should an entrepreneurial thinker who is able to take ownership and be creative. Attention to detail is a must.
This person should have established media relationships and know how to craft the best story for the audience. The senior associate should cultivate relationships across all sectors and maintain their clients' presence with key media targets. This position also acts as a resource for junior staff members; providing guidance on media and general public relations/marketing skills, while continuing to gain more insight and knowledge of all pertinent media.
In this role, the senior associate will report to the CEO on major account activities; alerting management of any client problems or situations. As a close-knit company, we like to have fun and always look for employees that possess a positive demeanor!
At the end of the day you need to be able to creatively solve problems and be able to see the big picture and how everything we do fits together. You need to anticipate your client's needs and be ready with solutions. You need to understand your client's end game and what will make him/her successful.
This is a contract position with the possibility of turning into a permanent position.
Qualifications
• At least 3 years of experience in agency PR
• A demonstrable interest and understanding of technology
• Superb client relations and service delivery
• Taking sole ownership of specific client program areas
• Excellent ability to manage junior staff
• Excellent implementation of all assigned account tactics and projects
• Excellent personal media contacts with relevant trade and business publications
• Proficiency in all public relations writing and editing skills
• Interest in new business efforts and identification of new business opportunities
