We are a multimedia production company based in Hollywood. We develop stories for filmed entertainment, and other media. The internship will be three times a week for three months 10 am to 5pm.
DESCRIPTION Currently our office is looking to bring on interns who are currently enrolled in an undergrad or graduate program for film/screenwriting related studies. Non-paid interns will be mentored in film/TV development and production. The right candidate will gain invaluable, hands-on experience in the entertainment production process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Review submissions , (scripts, pitches,articles,etc) and write coverage.
• Assist with company's PR and social media management.
• Assist in gathering assets for as well as building presentation and pitch material.
• Participate in development research and assist in the production process of films, TV and other content.
• Write coverages for sctipts.
QUALIFICATIONS
• College major in film, media, marketing, communications, law or related field with strong research skills.
• Passion for storytelling and high literacy in storytelling elements and strong knowledge of story genre.
• Articulate and charismatic interpersonal communication in writing, in person and on the phone.
• Personable, professional demeanor, ethical and able to handle confidential matters.
• Attention to detail. (Pre-qualifier: read this listing closely and write a professional and concise cover letter)
• Basic knowledge of editing/office software.
* Ability to use Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite and other media editing software. (Plus, not required)
• Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
COMPENSATION At the end of the term intern will get a character reference and/or a recommendation letter for job placement. Based on intern's abilities there may be future freelance opportunities in design or development.
