Konnect Public Relations is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant with experience and interest in working in a fast-paced environment. This position is primarily responsible for enhancing the Executive's effectiveness by providing information, scheduling and management support. This position reports directly to the CEO and provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship while maintaining a positive, can-do attitude.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
-Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected
-Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keep her well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately
-Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures
-Manages and maintains the CEO's professional and personal calendar and screens emails in Microsoft Outlook on a regular basis, up to 500 emails per day
-Makes travel arrangements, including hotel accommodations, flight arrangements and car rentals for the CEO
-Establishes, develops, maintains and updates filing systems for the CEO
-Handle all CEO and COO issues as they arise
-Helps organize yearly executive retreat
EDUCATIONAL AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum 1 year of executive assistance experience
-Receptionist and/or Office Management experience is a plus
-Strong communication, writing and research skills
-Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
-Able to working on multiple projects at once with the ability to prioritize tasks
-Attention to detail is a must
-Strong ability to solve problems and be resourceful
-Great interpersonal skills
-Takes direction well
-Able to handle any/all confidential information, issues and matters in a sensitive manner
-Able to handle fast-paced PR environment
-Able to work well under pressure
-Self-starter, able to work independently as well as in groups
-Ability to think independently
-Desire to grow and learn with the company
-Professional appearance and demeanor
-Positive attitude
