Konnect PR, a Los Angeles-based boutique lifestyle public relations firm, is seeking an Account Coordinator to assist with several accounts ranging from the food/ beverage industry, to accessories, and more. The Account Coordinator will work closely with the Account Executive and will be responsible for duties including: writing press releases, creating comprehensive media lists, monitoring and updating social media/ blogs on a regular basis, shipping samples, pitching online and print media, clipping press and more. Ideal candidate should be able to work independently without constant oversight, has some knowledge of public relations and media contacts, and has the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced environment. This is a full time entry level position with definite room for growth within the company.
Requirements:
- B.A. in public relations/ communications or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience working in the public relations industry
- Experience working with common PR tools such as Cision, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, etc.
