Santa Monica based, King and Country is seeking full time staff Post Production Coordinators to join our studio. The ideal candidate must have experience coordinating Motion Graphics for Commercial spots for Ad Agencies and Promos, Show Packages, etc., for Networks.. Great technical, organizational and communications skills are key as candidate must be well versed in assisting producers on multiple projects at once, scheduling/recruiting freelance talent, and assisting on all projects from pitch to delivery.
We're looking for Coordinators seeking a long-term relationship that offers growth within our creative, challenging, and fun working environment/family.
Qualifications:
• 1-3+ years post production coordinator experience in Motion Graphics Industry.
• Expert knowledge of managing files for posting to client (compressing to h264, wmv, codecs, etc.) a must.
• Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign a must. (photoshop, illustrator a plus)
• Strong understanding of Mac Computer systems a must.
• Strong communications and organizational skills.
• Problem solving skills, self starter, and team player.
• Understand graphics workflow, timelines, & deliverable lists, a must.
• Hard working/passionate about position & eager to learn in a fast paced creative environment a must.
• Flexible hours as some late nights, weekends, will be required.
Responsibilities:
• Communicate daily with Head of Production/Producers to assist in all ongoing projects.
• Type impeccable notes during creative calls, disperse to creatives, producers, teams, etc.
• Work with studio database to recruit and schedule freelance talent needed for all projects.
• Track and update bookings, holds, challenges, etc. for freelancers.
• Work on multiple projects with multiple producers at the same time.
• Assist producers and creatives by putting together treatments and pitches.
• Upload & download assets from clients to FTP/Servers.
• Research and download items for projects from the internet.
• Upload and post WIP for producers as needed.
• Assist with IT department for misc. items (rental workstations, nodes, etc.)
• Update weekly production reports.
