Assistant to Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler, Killer Films
Killer Films is seeking an Assistant to its co-founders, producers Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler. This is a great opportunity for someone who's looking to learn the ins and outs of the industry, be a part of a busy and successful operation and work closely with producers and executives in a growing company.
Killer Films has produced acclaimed features including Academy Award®-winning BOYS DON'T CRY and Academy Award®-nominated FAR FROM HEAVEN. Killer Films executive produced MILDRED PIERCE, the Emmy Award®-winning HBO mini-series starring Kate Winslet. Killer continues to expand its operation in the television and digital space, as well as maintain its status as a New York indie film powerhouse. Most recently, Killer produced CAROL by Todd Haynes starring Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara; STILL ALICE by Wash Westmoreland and Richard Glatzer starring Julianne Moore, Kristen Stewart, and Alec Baldwin; and John Krokidas's debut feature KILL YOUR DARLINGS starring Daniel Radcliffe, Ben Foster, Jack Huston, and Elizabeth Olsen.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Provide general administrative support, scheduling, calendar management and personal assistance as necessary to Christine and Pamela. Day-to-day office manager duties including phones, office maintenance, scheduling, intern management, books and finances etc. Provide creative assistance with ongoing film, TV and digital projects in all stages of production.
Job Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, be self-motivated and have the ability to problem solve independently, have strong administrative skills (Phone, MS Office/Windows, filing, etc.) and passion for Film, TV, and digital media. Prior relevant experience is required. Knowledge of basic accounting and finance is a plus. Strong computer skills and valid drivers license required.
