KVVU FOX5 is looking for its next great Promotions Producer, a talented writer/shooter/editor who wants to take their skills to the next level! Join our Emmy Award Winning Promotions Department, become the newest member of our FOX5 Surprise Squad and flex your creative muscles on cutting-edge campaigns. Get your adrenaline fix and work closely with our #1 rated Prime Time news team by promoting daily newscasts, special reports and breaking news. Plus, get a taste of the glamorous life editing spots for our local entertainment shows…all in the greatest city in the world, Las Vegas!
Experience:
Two years commercial television experience.
Commercial production experience and/or advertising agency experience a plus.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to write, shoot, edit compelling news promos.
Must be experienced with HD tapeless workflows, DSLR video. HD Solid State camera technology a plus.
Team player who can work closely with multiple departments
Familiar with creating 2D graphics a plus.
Fluent in multiple non-linear edit platforms, including AVID, Premiere After Effects and others.
Web proficient and social media savvy.
Familiarity with field and studio
Familiarity with media file compressions and codecs a plus.
Familiarity with DVD authoring is a plus.

75% Creates television/non news promotions/topicals segments, including all aspects of production. Writes, shoots, edits, creates graphics.
