Responsible for working with Sales Managers and Account Executives to generate incremental revenue for the station - broadcast, digital, and internet. Coordinator will develop and prepare sales and marketing opportunities to maximize station assets and accomplish client strategic goals. Coordinator will be included in strategy meetings with clients/agencies and will participate in sales presentations. Along with AE/Sales Managers, will be expected to provide agencies feedback and suggestions on how to accomplish their marketing goals and take ideas and turn them into campaigns/opportunities. Coordinator will work closely with Sales, Creative Services, Traffic, and News to create marketing proposals and execute campaigns and promotions for broadcast, digital and internet. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the Master Proposal Binder, Marketing Pending Reports, Sales & Marketing Calendars, and various special reports as needed.
A successful candidate must be motivated with the ability to work in an extremely fast pace and challenging environment. Applicant must be a self-starter with strong execution and follow up skills. Must have strong written/verbal communication skills, able to think creatively, and juggle multiple deadlines and priorities. High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint, is required. Knowledge of the local marketplace and KTLA News, especially as it relates to branding and marketing; including but not limited to talent, current sponsors, voice-over, lower third, on set branding, pre-produced packages etc. Two (2) years of sales or marketing experience required.
