JOB TITLE: Office Manager
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
REPORTS TO: Director, Engineering
KTLA seeks an assertive, detail oriented office manager to oversee general office management duties and serve as a liaison with building management.
DUTIES: Liaison between building management, support services and outside vendors to ensure all contractual obligations have been fulfilled as well as assist in review of the viability of current vendor management/selection. Responsible for assisting in facilitating the scheduling of all engineering employees. Troubleshoots scheduling conflicts. Order and track new equipment purchases, general office supplies, and tracking inbound/outbound repairs and returns (RMA's). Communicate and schedule with building management, and other outside vendors for service and support; provides general administrative support
REQUIREMENTS: Demonstrates self-initiative, assumes responsibility for managing vendor accounts, including building relationships with internal and external customers. Two-year experience in television broadcasting, preferably in Engineering or scheduling, gained either through work experience or classroom study. Candidate must have PC skills with proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (high emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook.); strong professional interpersonal, customer service, administrative, calendar management and organizational skills. Must be detail oriented. Must possess a professional telephone manner, ability to respond clearly and effectively to external clients and employees, and seasoned people skills, proven ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and the ability to accommodate a flexible work scheduled are required. Previous experience supporting an engineering scheduling office is preferred. Requires an associate degree or equivalent-related experience.
