Position: News Operations Manager
Department: News
Supervisor: News Director
Duties: Responsible for all news department technical operations including news remote operations. In charge of scheduling and supervision of all IATSE personnel (photographers, Editors and News center personnel). Oversees purchase and maintenance of News equipment and News Vehicles. Prepare budgets, forecast, plans and reports as necessary. Works closely with the News management team.
Requirements: Successful candidate must possess sound leadership ability with a proven track record as a television news manager. Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 5 to 7 years progressive technical news operations experience in a major market. Must have good organizational and communication (verbal and written) skills. Must be capable of managing a large staff while performing duties and making decisions under extreme pressure.
