About the Position
Our bi-costal boutique editorial house is searching for a confident, driven, and extremely efficient Senior Post Producer for a full-time position. As a Senior Producer, you will be responsible for handling multiple ongoing projects in a high-pressure environment. This role will be focused on offline editorial and online finishing. As the liaison between clients and our team, this role requires excellent communication skills, understanding of technical aspects, and ability to prioritize. Responsibilities include managing clients' requests, scheduling, support & general troubleshooting.
Description
• Working with our team to bid and pitch jobs that include post-production, Color, VFX, Sound, and Music Composition
• Anticipate need for additional resources where necessary. Building a network of such talent so that they are readily available to work on our projects
• You will be the epicenter of communication for the LA office, imperturbability is crucial.
• Wrapping final project budgets, and providing POs and financial information to our accountants and archive jobs upon completion.
• Working with our team to look after clients during edit sessions
• Proactively identifies risks associated with meeting milestones; ensures necessary and appropriate steps are taken to resolve difficulties which may impede progress or compromise achievement scheduled milestones.
• Manages and continues to improve the post-production process.
• Communicates regularly with team members to track the status of tasks and ensure deadlines are met
• Track all assets & deliverables throughout the lifecycle of a program.
• Schedule team tasks daily proactively communicating project status, utilizing visual tracking tools and providing up to date scheduling info.
• Removes barriers so that team members can get their job done.
• Strive for better client and internal team relations by being acutely responsive, detail oriented and obsessed with organization.
• Being a visible part of our team at industry and company events, building our reputation as a boutique post production company
Requirements
• 2 years minimum experience as a post producer
• BA in Communication, Film or Business
• Strong team player; clear, concise, and considerate communication is mandatory.
• Have patience and the ability to remain calm even when others around you cannot.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel, and budgeting software.
• Strong client interaction skills with excellent customer service experience with internal and external clients.
• Planning and problem-solving abilities are required, as well as the ability to identify priorities and meet goals.
