JONESWORKS is seeking creative and organized public relations Account Coordinators to join our Talent division in both our NYC & LA offices.
Account Coordinator Job Duties include, but are not limited to:
Media monitoring, maintain media library, compile media clip books & create media distribution lists
Maintain weekly and monthly PR reports and provide admin support on all accounts
Assist with research projects and create research reports
Develop and manage timelines and weekly action plans to ensure all deadlines on client programs are met
Assist in the new business preparation process. This includes research, proposal and pitch preparation
Maintain sample closet and track all incoming/outgoing samples, as well as manage all incoming/outgoing FedEx & messenger shipments
Mentor interns as assigned
Requirements:
Strong attention to detail
Self-starter as well as a team player
Strong writing skills
Ability to multitask effectively under deadlines
Prior internship experience in Entertainment or PR industries is preferred
Entertainment, Fashion/Lifestyle and/or Philanthropy experience is a plus!!!
Job Specifications/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree specializing in public relations, communications, or related field preferred
0-1 year experience in an agency setting focusing in fashion and beauty; relevant internship experience will also be considered
Detail oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to work events; some nights
Experience with PR databases, such as CisionPoint, preferred
Commitment and dedication to the agency's overall success
