JONESWORKS, a full service public relations and brand consultancy representing an elite roster of talent, philanthropic and lifestyle brands is currently seeking to fill an Account Coordinator position within our lifestyle and entertainment divisions. Candidates should be energetic and creative self-starters who are highly organized and results driven. The position is full-time based in our NYC office.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Daily media monitoring and clipping of client placements
• Compile monthly media status reports and clip books
• Assist with vetting incoming client requests for interviews, photo shoots and events
• Research relevant media outlets for client outreach
• Help draft client pitches
• Create and update media lists to maintain accurate contact information
• Manage sample product inventory and trafficking
• On-site assistance at client events, red carpets and other appearances
QUALIFICATIONS:
• BA or BS in communications or like fields a plus
• 0-1 year of professional and/or internship experience
• Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills are essential
• Ability to think creatively and generate new ideas.
• All candidates must be highly motivated and be able to worth with a team and individually
• Entrepreneurial spirit, results driven, effective communicators, highly organized and enjoy working in a thriving team environment
