Jack Nadel International, a nationally renowned creative marketing, promotional products & merchandise solutions company seeks an Accounts Payable File Clerk to assist our Corporate Accounts Payable team.
Job Description:
This person will work on a wide variety of projects in a fun, fast paced environment. The Ideal candidate must have a high level of energy and professionalism, think critically, feel confident and comfortable handling multiple tasks, and not be afraid to ask questions. They must also have excellent customer service skills, strong written/verbal English skills, be extremely detail-oriented, and have a positive 'can do' attitude. We are looking for someone who is interested in building a future with a stable, reputable company that just celebrated 63 years in business.
Core Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
•Batch and record all sample invoices and input against sales ledgers.
•Research issues and route all problem invoices to the appropriate personnel or department to resolve.
•Handle check matching process for large check runs.
•File open and paid invoices in the appropriate AP files and ensure proper file maintenance.
•Calculate and code all returned sample invoices.
•Support Accounts Payable team members during times of high volume.
•Assist with special projects as requested.
•Additional projects as assigned.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
•1 year experience supporting an accounts payable department.
•1 year administrative experience.
•Computer literate with basic skills in Outlook, Word and Excel.
•Ability to learn quickly and work proficiently in multiple software systems.
•Excellent communication skills, including professional and courteous telephone manner and people skills.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
•1 year experience in an accounts payable department supporting a sales environment.
Education:
•High School Diploma or equivalent required.
