Los Angeles-based production company is creating an animated film starring A-list and Academy Award-winning and nominated actors, seeks to offer an UNPAID SUMMER INTERNSHIP to a promising and talented SOUND EDITOR. Work closely with film director.
Start Date: May 10, 2016 -- End Date: July 1, 2016. (Two Months)
Part time: 12-15 hours/week
- Organize all existing actor dialogue takes
- Label all existing dialogue takes
- Creatively select ''best'' takes and write brief but convincing notes on why each take is best/unique
- Compile a single, working Audio Timeline of all actors' dialogue on separate audio tracks -- using existing timeline as baseline reference
- Suggest creative and transgressive ideas for F/X to augment the story line and increase emotional impact of each scene
Perfect internship for a recent grad with outstanding organization skills and a love of sound design.
Company's last film featured in NYTimes, LATimes, Vogue, Elle, Huffington Post, Page 6, Variety, Hollywood Reporter, Deadline, Onion A.V. Club, Jezebel, Chicago Tribune, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a copy of and be proficient in ProTools.
Must have own computer/laptop.
Outstanding organization skills required.
Film majors and sound design majors/graduates encouraged to apply.
Must be a recent college graduate or a rising senior at a four-year university/college.
