I. COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Innovation Arts & Entertainment (IAE) is a boutique producer of unique live entertainment experiences featuring intelligent, articulate, and engaging artists and authors. All told, IAE brings the Best of Touring Broadway entertainment to 18 cities across North America and services over 20,000 season ticket holders throughout that network. IAE is also proud to have recently produced the United States book tour for Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Anthony Bourdain's 2015 Close to the Bone Tour, as well as the 2015 US theater tour of renowned astrophysicist and host of TV's Cosmos, Neil deGrasse Tyson. Current and past tours feature Bobby Flay, Giada di Laurentiis, David Sedaris, Garrison Keillor, & William Shatner to audiences across North America.
Based in Chicago, IAE offers audiences across the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico the most exciting, critically successful live entertainment options. From touring Broadway shows, speakers, concerts, comedians, and lecture, IAE sets the bar for quality, popular events and delivering ticket buyers to our theater and arena partners everywhere.
II. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate advance and communication with venue and tour staff for all show logistics, including labor, schedules, catering, rentals, budgets, and travel.
• Manage local expenses, and track estimated and actual expenses within show budgets.
• Coordinate hospitality, rentals, and staffing for events as needed.
• Travel to represent the Company on-site for shows, and make logistical and financial decisions for Company. (50% travel)
• Create and execute financial settlements with tour and venue personnel.
• Assist with coordinating IAE touring shows, as needed.
• Observe regular part-time office hours to fulfill job responsibilities.

IV. POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
Experience and Education:
Bachelors Degree in Theatre, Management, Technical Support, Audio, Lighting, or related field; and/or At least two years experience in a theatre and/or management related field.
Foundational Skills:
Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
Conversant in technical crafts, and understanding of touring theatre riders, plots, and paperwork. Exceptional communication skills, and managerial accountability.
Valued Competencies:
Proactive working solo, and with teams from different organizations. Comfort with frequent travel responsibilities.
Basic drafting knowledge is a plus.
Basic knowledge of ticketing systems is a plus.
