About IDS:
Inception Digital Services is an encoding company based in Agoura Hills, CA.
Our clients include video content owners, distributors and studios. We encode and deliver to numerous online, TV, and mobile platforms.
Position Summary:
Facilitate the delivery of digital media packages. Assemble package elements and review metadata per customer orders and/or unique platform specifications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assemble elements including audio, video, art, closed caption, subtitle, and metadata assets into deliverable packages
- Adhere to customer and platform specifications and requirements
- Analyze and validate all metadata and artwork/image submissions
- Understand platform ingestion and publishing procedures for EST and VOD content
- Complete additional package or asset preparation as required
- Update and complete work orders and follow daily schedule
Skills and Requirements:
- Familiarity with Windows and Mac environments
- Strong understanding of digital video and audio concepts
- Working knowledge of XML creation, editing and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to work, multitask, and manage time efficiently in a fastpaced atmosphere
- Meticulous organization and attention to detail
- Strong professional communication both written and verbal
- Degree in A/V technology or digital media related field, computer science or
programming, electronics or other related field preferred but not required
- Web/HTML coding knowledge a plus
**Position is entry level. Training will be provided. Must possess a positive attitude and eagerness to learn quickly.
