Description:
InTune Entertainment is a full-service artist management company based in Nashville, TN. We provide a wide range of complementary services to assist with each step of a recording artist's career, including A&R, administration, art and graphic design, booking, branding, data analysis, distribution, fan acquisition and engagement, licensing, merchandising, production, promotional services, publicity, publishing, recording, radio promotion, release planning, social media strategy, and web development.
InTune Entertainment is looking for passionate interns all over the country who have a desire to learn more about the music industry through hands on experience. This internship offers learning opportunities in the areas of management, tour marketing, publicity, radio and web promotion, graphic and web design, merchandising and show promotion. All internships are unpaid and weekly hours are flexible. Experience with Social Media, Microsoft Excel and Word a must and website and graphic design knowledge preferred. Specifically, we are looking for dedicated, hard working, high-energy individuals, not afraid to take initiative.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Our College Music Marketing Reps will play an extremely important role in the development of our artists. The College Reps are often the trendsetters or key tastemakers on campus and are heavily involved in their campus community.
This position is a way to learn all of the ins and outs of the music business, gain marketing and advertising experience and most importantly, take that first step in establishing yourself in the music and entertainment business.
• Create marketing plans and campaigns to create awareness of our artists on campus and within the local community
• Gain exposure and promote artists on social media accounts
• Educate students and local community members on new and upcoming releases while gaining immediate feedback over a short period of time
• Establish relationships with committees, clubs, influential leaders, trendsetters and tastemakers in order to secure outlets for artist marketing ideas, events and programs on campus and in the community
• Maintain a database of local radio stations for promotional opportunities
• Responsible for the marketing and promotion of upcoming shows, working to continuously increase attendance
Requirements:
• Must have access to a reliable computer and transportation
• Brand marketing experience and skills
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Outgoing creative thinker
• Active social media and networking skills
• Involved in school organizations and activities
• Knowledge and passion for the music and entertainment industry
• Strong work ethic and responsibility
• College Enrollment (2 course/6 credit minimum per semester)
