Illume PR, a boutique tech PR agency is seeking an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to provide support for select clients out of our Santa Monica office. The ideal candidate has 2-5 years PR experience supporting clients in the digital, startup, ad tech/B2B or consumer technology space. The prospective candidate should be proactive, with excellent writing, organizational and managerial skills. We are an extremely fast paced agency so a self-starting, mutli-tasker is a must!

Founded in 2008, Illume Public Relations provides hands-on communications services to a select group of companies in the digital and technology sectors. By nurturing a tight-knit professional environment where senior management remains deeply involved in every campaign, Illume serves as the defacto in-house PR team for its clients. Illume is headquartered in Santa Monica with an office in NYC.
Responsibilities Include
• Develop and execute campaign strategies
• Lead account activities / account management
• Develop messaging / positioning for clients and relevant communications including press releases, pitches, bios, fact sheets, etc
• Develop and manage press outreach and media relations programs spanning trade, business and vertical press
• Identify and submit clients for speaking opportunities and industry awards. Drafting abstracts, bylines and submission as necessary
• Social media planning and execution
• Keep account team abreast of timelines and deadlines
• Participate in brainstorms
• Mentor / manage Account Coordinator, Account Assistants and interns
Required Skills/Qualifications
• 2-5 years relevant experience
• Collaborative spirit, thrive in close team environment
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to quality and accuracy - strong attention to detail
• Ability to create, build and maintain strong relationships
• Understanding/passion for digital media, technology and social platforms
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Bachelor's degree
