Intern - Talent Agency
Ideal Talent AgencyStudio City, CA
Part Time Unpaid Internship
Ideal Talent Agency, a full service boutique agency, is accepting applications for our Spring 2017 Internships.
Our agency handles actors for TV, Film, commercials, as well as writers and directors.
We give our interns more hands on work compared to other internships, focusing more on project based work, hands on work, opportunities to sit in, etc. with limited to no administrative sort of busy work. We place the educational aspect of our internships first, as our program is geared toward learning through immersion and we do our best to make ourselves readily accessible for questions and try to give assignments based on our intern's interests.
If any work was to fall outside of the educational purpose of a internship, i.e. volunteering for a delivery or acting more as a ''temp,'' we always compensate our interns.
Day-to-day activities generally include involvement in the process of securing roles for clients, reviewing client audition tapes, drafting letters, making calls, research assignments, script coverage, putting together go out lists, assisting with social media, identifying projects and new talent, etc. As a talent agency, we have a broad range of work we do on behalf of our clients and strive to have interns take part in work that best pertains to their future career goals.
Interns needs to be friendly, energetic, personable, effective communicators, knowledgeable of Mac, and interested in learning all about how a talent agency works.
Past interns have generally been interested in pursuing careers in talent representation, management, acting, screenwriting, producing, directing, etc.
We will satisfy any requirements for school credit.
This internship DOES NOT REQUIRE A CAR as our office is very easily accessible by most of LA's public transportation, including Metro Rail (3 blocks from Universal City Metro Station). We also are fine with interns leaving for auditions.
