ICONOCLAST, an award winning TV commercial and music video production company in Culver City, is looking for a smart, hardworking bookkeeper to join its production accounting team.
Must have a minimum of 5 years bookkeeping experience in a commercial production company. We're looking for someone who is detail oriented, accurate and has a meticulous sense of organization since the accounting job duties are diverse. The environment is fast-paced with multiple productions occurring simultaneously. Staying focused while maintaining accuracy and efficiency is a must. The position entails working with producers and production coordinators so excellent communication and writing skills are necessary.
Along with your bookkeeping experience, a working knowledge of Quickbooks, Excel and Microsoft Office is essential.
Your job duties will include the following:
Accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry.
Review of timecards and processing crew payroll.
Reconciling petty cash.
Coding Amex statements and posting of daily Amex uploads, organizing the back up.
Participating in job startup and wrap meetings.
Reviewing production teams purchase orders, check requests and credit card authorizations for accuracy and completion.
1099 preparation.
Filing and organization. Updating inventory lists for company's storage.
