JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Ensures staff development of traffic department personnel. Plans, evaluates and updates operational procedures and necessary resources to ensure efficient flow of information and operation
•Supervise, mentoring, motivating and establishing management objectives for traffic management team
•Facilitate ongoing training within the traffic department
•Responsible for managing the program restriction application within the OSi Traffic system
•Produce & distribute holiday log locking schedules as needed
•Provide approvals on PTO time for Sr. Traffic Managers
•Responsible for setting yearly goals for direct reports
•Provide liaison support between Pricing & Inventory team and NY Traffic Director and NY Traffic team as it relates to spot placement, cancellations, new/revised orders and booking discrepancies/errors
•Daily and direct communication with Sales team regarding any pending short form issues such as spot placement, cancellations, new/revised and or booking errors.
•Work directly with TOC on all log addendums & log changes
•Daily and direct communication with Long Form & DR Copy Manager regarding any pending copy issues.
•Back-up for Sr. Traffic Manger, Inventory & Copy, Traffic Director Qubo & Life
•24 Hour On Call
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
•5+ years in related functions
•2+ years experience in managing a staff
•Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
•Ability to multi-task and work independently
•Results-oriented and strong decision making skills
•Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Including Excel and Outlook
•Must be a team player with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and prioritize duties
•Must demonstrate initiative and work independently with little supervision
