JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Coordinate on-going systems and application maintenance and upgrades with no disruption to business
•Support and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and proactively implement sustainable corrective actions
•Perform gathering of business requirements across departments for all process and system improvement projects to ensure successful and timely delivery
•Document requirements, user stories, test plans, test cases, technical solutions, user guides; maintain and update existing documentation as required
•Participate in system testing and lead quality assurance efforts
•Establish and maintain best practices and tools for requirements gathering and end user documentation
•Perform data analysis where requirements may need to be derived from raw data, available system documentation, interviews with users, and/or file specifications/samples
•Propose solutions to conflicts between business user needs, system capabilities, and data integration tools
•Function as a subject matter, process, and operational expert to support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing
•Provide support to user groups during routine scheduled business hours and outside scheduled hours during the week and weekends, as needed
•Assist in the assessment of new technologies and establishment of evaluation criteria
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED
•A degree in Information Systems or related technical field and 5+ years of related experience
•Working knowledge of project management methodologies and creation of defined artifacts
•Experience with Business Process Modeling practices and techniques
•Working knowledge of SQL
•Working experience in Broadcast Management, Scheduling, Channel Management and/or other Media technology systems preferred
•Experience with CRM and/or ERP software a plus
•Knowledge of BI/Reporting tools (QlikView, Tableau, MicroStrategy, SSRS, Business Objects, etc.) a plus
•Must have good written and verbal communications skills
•Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel
•Must have strong multi-tasking, coordination, organization and time management skills
•Must be task and detail oriented with a demonstrated ability to work in fast paced, dynamic, and deadline oriented business environment
•Must be able to see the ''big picture'' of business needs and how they relate to database structure
•Must be able to work independently and as a team player
