IMDb is looking for an exceptional Television Editor with on-camera experience to provide unique editorial content (in video and text) for our site. TV content is a non-stop stream of produced shows from five large networks and even more from literally hundreds of cable, OTT, and syndicated producers, ranging from scripted dramas to reality shows and beyond. Alongside the biggest titles and actors on the small screen, the TV Editor will write and produce compelling and engaging content to enhance, extend, and expand our consumers' enjoyment of them.
This position requires deep knowledge of TV trends, industry, and competitive landscape; strong command of the English language; social media savvy; experience with sponsored content; knowledge of site analytics; and solid on-camera experience. The successful candidate will have several years of online experience working in the entertainment field in some regard, preferably covering TV, with deep contacts in the industry.
It should be pointed out that this job must be flexible to work evenings and/or weekends. High-potential candidates will have a track record of activity in online publishing and/or social media. This could include blogging, vlogging, and grassroots marketing via Twitter, Facebook, or other social media platforms. And a TV. You should own a TV.

• Be able to write succinctly, accurately, and efficiently
• Have a respect for the imperative to meet financial goals and be service-oriented when needed
• Have an engaging and energetic on-camera presence
• Have an ability to communicate effectively with remote teams
• Be deadline oriented with effective time management within a daily publishing environment
• Have a strong network within the industry to help build our brand and original content offering.
Qualifications
• 6 years relevant work experience as an online writer or editor, preferably covering TV
• Experience with social media tools
• Experience with content management systems
• Experience with data-driven publishing
