IMDbPro is IMDb's professional subscription business, with the mission of informing and connecting professionals in the entertainment industry.
• We're looking for a subscription product marketing rock-star to join our growing team in Santa Monica, CA as Sr. Marketing Manager, IMDbPro. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, results-oriented and can develop, execute, and evaluate strategies for acquiring and retaining IMDbPro members across channels. To do this, you will collect customer insights, test and execute messaging and campaigns, develop customer education programs that drive engagement with key features, and report on results to leadership.
• The successful candidate will have extensive experience in digital marketing roles and a proven track record of using multiple marketing channels to drive adoption and retention of a digital service or product. The candidate must have demonstrated sound business judgment and be able to think strategically and creatively about a quickly growing business, while at the same time have the analytical ability and desire to drive hands-on execution. Keys to success include exceptional analytical, creative, communication, writing and interpersonal skills, along with a focus on details and a drive for improvement.

• • Specific responsibilities include the following:
• Build an effective marketing plan to drive awareness, adoption, ongoing usage, and retention of IMDbPro.
• Build and maintain a customer testimonial program to ensure that we capture and share the stories from our most successful customers as they are the most powerful evangelists for IMDbPro.
• Develop and execute creative marketing programs, campaigns and promotions across various digital channels, such as email marketing, social media, SEM, co-marketing with partners, etc.
• Create targeted messages and customer communications based on the key value propositions of IMDbPro.
• Own ongoing A/B testing and optimization of our key marketing programs and channels.
• Partner with product managers to identify needs and help define necessary product/service improvements and new areas for innovation.
• Identify internal platform and tool improvements that would help our marketing efforts, and champion their development.
• Direct production of creative assets (in partnership with design team).
• Develop high-quality communications for major product launches.
• Build and analyze key metrics and traffic patterns to measure attribution / performance of marketing programs.
• Create relationships with internal and external partners as needed to drive the business.

• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 5 years digital marketing experience
• Membership/loyalty program experience
• Content marketing/email marketing experience
• Strong analytical skills; ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment; strong bias for action.
• Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, schedule tradeoffs and opportunistic new ideas with technical employees.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• He or she is a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and compellingly and effectively influence across cross functional teams.
• Must be able to think and act both strategically and tactically, deal with ambiguity, manage changing priorities and influence others.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly and analytically, solve problems, scope business requirements and prioritize work on projects.
• Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape.
• Willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary; owner mentality and an entrepreneurial drive; demonstrated ability to have fun and inspire team members to enjoy work, be action-oriented and stretch their imagination.
• Committed to learning and expanding professional and technical knowledge.
• The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus and extensive experience in subscription product marketing. Note: This is an individual contributor role, but one with significant responsibility and room for growth.
• A bachelor's degree is required
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• MBA is preferred.
• Facility with SQL (basic queries) desired
