IM Global, a leading international film, television and music entertainment company with core business activity in international licensing, production, and financing is seeking interns for their LA office to start immediately! (hiring window: 5/15/17-6/5/17). Candidates must work well in a fast paced environment, have good communication skills, and be personable. Those selected will gain an immersive experience of all aspects of independent film financing, production, sales, and acquisitions. Students must receive school credit for the internship.
Duties
Support all activities of the business and finance department, including but not limited to-
• Review distribution agreements and assist in generating royalty schedules
• Support research on growth opportunities for the company
• Conduct analyses and generate insights on profitable films
• Compile weekly trades
Qualifications
• Detail-oriented and analytical
• Able to meet deadlines without compromising quality of work
• Qualitatively and quantitatively competent
• Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, Operations, Economics, or related
• Excel and Powerpoint proficiency (preferred)
