PR Intern - Summer
Intern supports PR team in their efforts to promote IFC's brand and original programming in order for the intern to gain experience in the entertainment industry and learn the inner workings of TV and entertainment publicity. The Publicity Intern will assist the PR team in all aspects of daily publicity duties including maintaining and updating publicity resources and databases, ordering and organizing press materials, gathering program information, researching publicity opportunities, assisting at program events, writing and occasionally liaising with journalists.
Recommended Qualifications:
Must be able to receive school credit. All majors welcome. An interest in entertainment publicity and television a plus.
Computer literate with competency in Microsoft Word and Excel as well as internet research/search engines.
Genuine interest in and knowledge of entertainment industry, independent film and pop culture.
Interns that can be available 4-5 days a week a major plus.
