Attorney in the Business and Legal Affairs Dept

ICM Partners, a major talent and literary agency is seeking an exceptional, highly motivated, and detail-oriented Attorney for our Business and Legal Affairs Departments. You would be handling the day-to-day business and legal affairs for ICM's Concerts, Global Branding and Digital Departments.
Qualifications-
- Member of the CA Bar
- 2-3 year transactional experience; entertainment/business affairs experience preferred
- Self-starter, with ability to take tasks from start to finish and ability to manage a variety of projects at any one time and see projects through from start to finish
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational, analytical, time management and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to effectively interact and communicate with all levels of employees
- Ability to handle pressure in a professional manner
- Excellent problem solver - maintaining a solid work ethic at all times a must.
- Ability to make sound decisions quickly -practical approach
- Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information discretely and with diplomacy
Responsibilities-
-Negotiating and drafting a wide range of agreements including agency agreements, consulting agreements, equity agreements, stock option agreements, warrant purchase agreements, NDAs and LOIs.
-Handling day-to-day task, such as, demand and cease and desist letter writing, and related documents as needed.
-Requires daily internal interaction with department heads and upper management, as well as line agents and external interactions and negotiations with top attorneys in the industry, as well as with talent managers, corporate executives and other talent agencies.
