Hulu is seeking a savvy marketing analyst to take Hulu Plus subscriptions to 4 million and beyond! We're looking for forward thinking marketers that will continue to aggressively ramp Hulu Plus as the fastest growing video service in the US. If you're seeking an opportunity to make a significant impact on a growing business, as well as gain exposure to multiple marketing channels, this is the position for you.
This hands-on, analytical role calls for an entrepreneurially minded marketer with demonstrable experience with data analysis, user behavior analysis, and campaign based online marketing. An interest in the analytics landscape and emerging platforms is essential, as the team's responsibilities and workflow are constantly evolving. In this role you will ensure the successful performance of marketing efforts across all digital and offline channels. A fundamental understanding of digital marketing and associated key metrics is necessary.
Responsibilities
Analyzing data trends around impressions, click-through-rates, creative performance, landing page and site user experience testing
Assessing multi-channel marketing performance by benchmarking against historical metrics
Structure A/B tests and analyze results on Hulu.com, third-party websites, and Hulu Plus apps to provide recommendations based on previous results
Compiling weekly campaign performance data, and helping build a cross-channel attribution model for customer acquisition
Assisting with campaign execution across teams with regard to tagging/tracking and analysis
Leveraging Google Analytics and internal reporting tools to gain insights about user behavior
Qualifications
BA/BS degree required
1-3 years of relevant experience in a highly analytical environment; Media agencies, consumer loyalty programs, subscription or ecommerce business models highly valued
Fundamental knowledge of media metrics (CTR, CPC) and key performance metrics (CPL, CPA)
Experience with online reporting tools (Google Analytics, Omniture, Facebook Insights,etc.)
Skilled at working with and distilling actionable insights from large data sets
Passion for the emerging media landscape, information capture, and user behavior tracking
Advanced knowledge in Excel
Open to taking on new challenges
