Hey Cole Presents provides promotional, booking, licensing, artist development and management services to a diverse and award-winning group of some of the best emerging acts.
The Band is with Us! This internship is not just about hanging with bands; it is about getting the hands on experience that you need to be successful in this business. We work to make sure that we find the best opportunities we can for the artists that we represent and our interns are an integral part of this.
The internship will include daily tasks in a small office environment and offers the opportunity to work directly with the artists, helping them to develop their bands and allowing you to truly get hands on experience in the industry.
Internships are available in the following areas:
Booking
- Responsible for helping to get our artists into the hands of the right people to help book shows at colleges/universities as well as other music venues in the tri-state area and beyond.
- Interns should be able to help identify possible tour opportunities and be able to assist in routing tours.
Licensing
- Responsible for researching and finding the right opportunities for our artists’ music, working to get our artists’ music in the hands of music supervisors in the advertising, film, and television world, and assisting our artists with getting the copyrights necessary to pitch their music.
Marketing/Research
- Responsible for assisting Hey Cole and our artists in utilizing social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Reverbnation, Purevolume, Myspace, etc., as well as helping to strategize ways to gather attention to our artists both online and off.
Special Events
- Responsible for things such as planning various events for artists and the company, setting up street teams, sending out invitations, gathering mailing list information, etc.

Requirements:
- A passion for the music industry and a desire to expand their knowledge and skills.
- Must be reliable, self-motivated and computer literate.
- Extremely important that applicants are loyal, honest and trustworthy.
- Must be flexible, detail-oriented and have strong organizational and communication (written and
verbal) skills.
- The ability to multi-task and thrive in a casual yet fast paced, deadline driven environment is essential.
- Preferred that you have a laptop that can connect to wireless Internet access.
- Reliable form of transportation to get to the Hey Cole office. The office is not accessible by public
transportation. |

This internship is a great opportunity for candidates who are eager to learn more about different aspects of
the music industry.
We can offer college credit for undergraduate and graduate students.
We are looking for interns who can make a commitment of 3 months and are able to work 2 days a week (hours to be determined) out of the Hey Cole home office located in Holland, PA, 35 min. from Philadelphia and 15 min. from Trenton. The Hey Cole office is open M-F from 10-6.
