This position is responsible for assisting Chief Creative & Marketing Officer with powerful presentations with top-notch execution. Presentation Specialist will primarily be working in PowerPoint and Keynote with day-to-day tasks which would include preparing and archiving presentations, updating and distributing agency style guide with presentation templates and latest verbiage and visual elements related to the Hawthorne brand, maintain client logos, schedule meetings; prepare agendas; distribute required documents; planning, preparation and coordination and attending commercial preparing for agency presentations, marketing documents prior to client distribution; assists in research as required; manage special projects as assigned; interfaces with all internal departments and clients, as required.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Four year college education, graduate from marketing school or communications major preferable.
• Strong presentation portfolio demonstrating expert level in PowerPoint/Keynote.
• Understanding of and experienced in branding, layout, color theory, and typography.
• Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and execution.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Excellent organization and computer skills.
Responsibilities:
• Supports the Chief Creative & Marketing Officer in the oversight and execution of presentations for creative and marketing departments.
• Supports Creative Department in administrative processes.
• Prepares and archives all agency presentations in PowerPoint, Keynote and Acrobat PDF along with associated videos and other media.
• Provides creative research.
• Assist in maintaining the vendor database.
• Coordinates with and assists Marketing Services for preparation of Insight Meetings.
• Creates, updates, and distributes project contact lists.
• As required, prepares creative/production/marketing documents.
• Maintains the general organization of the LA office and filing systems.
• Returns phone calls, writes/types correspondence/reports, makes copies, coordinates shipping and sends faxes as directed and needed.
• Actively participates in creative department meetings, with a commitment to discuss industry news and express new ideas, solutions and honest opinions.
• Follows all department and company policies and procedures, appropriately asking for clarification when questions arise.
• Develops and/or maintains current procedures for all responsibilities.
• Provides backup and overflow support for other positions within the creative department, as needed.
• Keeps abreast of trends in the television market.
• Performs miscellaneous departmental errands, as required.
• Interfaces with all Hawthorne departments and clients, as required.
• Acts as a positive and knowledgeable representative for Hawthorne. Makes every effort to maintain a positive, supportive attitude, along with a commitment to open communication.
• Works a flexible schedule and/or overtime as required.
