Hand Held Films is currently seeking a full-time camera prep technician who is able to collaborate with fellow employees and contribute to a productive workflow.
Requirements:
- Background or experience in filmmaking equipment required.
- Personable and professional demeanor while interacting with clientele.
- Excellent phone etiquette and written/oral communication skills.
- Must be accountable to work independently and complete all tasks assigned.
- Aptitude for learning new equipment and programs is essential.
- Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
- Team player and good attendance is a must.
Duties:
- Prep daily camera rental packages.
- Assist clients during check-outs with equipment needs and technical questions.
- Answer phone calls and emails regarding client questions and/or concerns about their rentals.
- Establish and maintain a neat and organized work environment.
- Assist the camera returns department during slow hours if needed.
- Create and send Purchase Orders for equipment.
- Organize shipments through FedEx and UPS
