Do you have the technical skills and the creative eye but seek mentorship from seasoned industry professionals to hone your craft? Do you have the flexibility to problem-solve and handle production, and the ability to capture the director's vision?
HFC PICTURES is accepting applications from exceptional individuals serious about a career as a cinematographer. All applicants must have experience operating a Canon 5D and must submit a reel of their work for consideration. As an intern you will work closely with our production team and participate in an entirely hands-on experience. You will operate camera regularly and attend intense feedback sessions with our director for further development.
HFC Pictures is the film and television division of the long established Hollywood Fight Club Productions responsible for producing over 285 plays worldwide and several independent films. Its production team is comprised of respected individuals with credits including Titanic, Avatar, Life of Pi, multiple premiers at Sundance, Tribeca and Cannes International Film Festival, nation wide theatrical releases and distribution on networks like OWN. We maintain degrees from top schools including AFI, Harvard, Carnegie Mellon and the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Details: The internship is 3 months. You are expected to work 15 hours a week. The internship is unpaid however you will receive internship credit in the film, college credit (if needed), letters of recommendation and referrals from department heads upon favorable completion. HFC PICTURES is a fast-growing company who at times offers employment to exceptional interns upon completion of the program.
